Cybersecurity Center
The Riverside City College Cybersecurity Center is a college and community resource. The center is designed to provide access to technology and resources to assist students in pursuit of a career in cyber defense as well as to provide for staff, faculty, and community, resources on ​information security awareness and online safety for both adults and children.
Programs, Pathways, Possibilities
Information Security and Cyber Defense Certificate
Awarded and recognized by the National Centers of Academic Excellence for Cyber Defense, the Information Security and Cyber Defense Certificate is now a validated Program of Study by the National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security.
Associate of Science Degree in Cyber Defense
Our Associate of Science Degree in Cyber Defense pathway provides students with a strong foundation needed in Cyber Defense, with applicable skills in Windows and Linux operating systems security and administration, web security, and more.
Cyberpreneurship Associate Degree and Certificate
The Cyberpreneurship pathway programs will prepare students with the knowledge and skills to establish their own cybersecurity business/practice.
Apprenticeship Program
The Apprenticeship program is partnered with many different businesses and employers with the combined goal of providing students with the experience and knowledge necessary to propel themselves in their future careers. Being a part of the program also includes the benefit of having all tuition costs for courses in the program waived.
Clubs
Riverside City College is home to our Cyber Security Club and Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS) Student Chapter, as well as many great committees. The clubs and organizations at RCC provide a great place to meet and converge with diverse individuals that have an interest and passion for information technology and cybersecurity.

Competitions
The Cyber Security Club and Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS) members participate in community outreach to promote cyber awareness, as well as compete in cyber competitions throughout the year. We are proud of their continuous success and ongoing achievements, which include National Cyber League, Socal Cyber Cup, Mayors Cyber Cup, and more!

NSA Program of Study Validation
Riverside City College’s Information Security and Cyber Defense program has achieved CAE-CD validation from the National Security Agency (NSA) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
CyberSmarties
Starting the FALL 2021 semester, the RCC WiCyS Student Chapter has held an annual CyberSmarties Booth once a week during the month of October to spread awareness during Cybersecurity Awareness Month.
Empire Tech Toy Drive
During the FALL 2021 semester, the RCC WiCyS Student Chapter and the RCC Cybersecurity Club teamed up to spread joy and assist Empire Technologies in their Holiday Toy Drive for Olive Crest of the Inland Empire.
